If something on this site is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it. This page explains how to report an error, what happens after you do, and how a correction is shown on the page afterwards.

How to report an error

Email support@poultrixhub.com with the web address of the page, the specific statement or number you believe is wrong, and — where you have one — the source that supports the correction. A precise report is much faster to act on than a general one.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge the reportYou get a reply confirming we have received it, so you know it did not disappear.
  2. We check it against our sourcesWe re-check the claim against the material the page was written from, and against any source you supplied.
  3. We correct or explainIf it is wrong, we change it. If we conclude it is right, we explain why — a report that turns out to be mistaken still usually shows us the page was unclear.
  4. We record the changeThe page's updated date is changed to reflect the correction.

Errors that could cause harm

How corrections appear on the page

  • Small factual fixes and clarifications: the content is changed and the updated date moves.
  • A change that reverses previous advice: a visible note on the page explaining what changed and when.
  • A calculator formula change: a visible note, because anyone who used the earlier version may need to redo their figures.
  • Corrections are never applied silently to anything that changed the meaning of the page.

Requests to remove content

If a page contains information about you that should not be public, contact support@poultrixhub.com and we will deal with it as a priority. Requests about your own account data are handled through our account and data deletion process instead.
